  • Working cut-section model of chassis of an actual automobile car with petrol engine and electrical system - All working systems, painted in different colours can be studied to their operations.

  Model Lab

  • Working model of underground direct haulage
  • Working model of cutter-loader
  • Working model of AB Short-wall CCM
  • Specimen of all type of colliery ropes

  Workshop

·        Welding Shop: TIG, MIG, Arc, Submerged Arc Welding machines, Profile Cutter, Plasma Cutter

·        Machine Shop: Gear Hobbing, Gear Shaping, Surafce & cylindrical Grinding, Tool and Cutter grinder, Universal milling, Shaping, Lathe.

·        Foundry Shop: Induction Furnace

 

Use of Laboratory Facilities:

The laboratories are primarily used for the practical classes of undergraduate & Post graduate students. Some of the experimental test set-ups are also used for research work. Some laboratory equipment are also demonstrated to the participants of short term courses.
