Dr. P. K. Mahato has joined Indian School of Mines, Dhanbad as Assistant Professor, in the year 2010. During his PhD in IIT Kharagpur he was working in a project sponsored by Aeronautical Research & Development Board (AR&DB) and also actively involved with Excellence Center for Composite Structure (IIT Kharagpur Center). He has experience of working with well-known numerical tool Finite Element Method (in Matlab 7.1/Fortran 90 environment) for analysis of smart composite structure, knowledge of aero-elasticity, computational mechanics, mechanics of composite structure, structural dynamics and control and FEM based packages like MSC.Nastran 2008, ANSYS 8.0 etc.
